Red House Painters - Drop (Ocean Beach)

Red House Painters were another band that I've discovered at the Portuguese summer festival Paredes de Coura and the first album I could borrow was Retrospective. Drop, from Ocean Beach, is one of their best songs. They've started their gig quite earlier to an audience that wasn't ready for them. I guess Mark Kozelek got very annoyed with so much whistling. Despite all that noise the gig was amazingly beautiful. They've removed the plastic background of the stage and pointed the stage lights to the trees behind the stage. I don't remember any song. Only a great gig and a stupid audience.
