Facing the impossibility to use the Song To The Siren by This Mortal Coil in Blue Velvet, Lynch requested an original song from Badalamenti. He came up with Mysteries Of Love and it was the first great result of a very fruitful collaboration between Lynch/Badalamenti and Julee Cruise. It’s dreamy, haunting and simply beautiful.
