Einstürzende Neubauten have always attracted me for their concepts and paraphernalia of weird instruments. Musically I’ve always found it a bit difficult to listen to (industrial soundscapes and German language is quite a combination) until the day I bought
Silence Is Sexy. It’s such a good album: incredible dynamics, lots of space, silence (obviously), some rhythmic textures that only Neubauten can create, and of course Blixa at his best (vocally and lyrically).
